Courses
The University of Tasmania has six faculties: Arts, Business, Education, Law, Health and Technology. Some of the more notable majors include: Tourism Management (in addition to the undergraduate degree, a Master's programme was launched in 2004), Public Administration, Music (especially in String Instrumentation and Digital Recording and Broadcasting), Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Medicine, and Computer and Information Technology.
Entry Requirements
-For undergraduate programmes: IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in each subject) or TOEFL IBT 80 (no less than 20).
-For Master's Degree programmes: IELTS 6.0 (no less than 6.0 for each course) or IBT 88 (no less than 20 for TOEFL).
-For Research Masters or Doctoral programmes: IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in each subject) or TOEFL IBT 92 (no less than 20).
-Higher IELTS scores are required for Education, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing 2-year accelerated programmes, Journalism and Environmental Studies.
