【Visa Update】The duration of the work visa in Australia has been confirmed to be extended by an additional two years.
On February 21st, the Australian Department of Education and the Department of Home Affairs released a new update. In order to assist businesses in Australia's post-pandemic recovery and revitalize the education industry, they announced that the duration of the Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) can be extended by an additional two years. Under this update, bachelor's degree graduates can obtain a maximum of 4 years, master's degree graduates can obtain a maximum of 5 years, and PhD graduates can obtain a maximum of 6 years on their 485 visa.
