The University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) is one of Australia's largest and most prestigious universities, and the only one located in the centre of Sydney. With more than 25,000 students, and more than 3,000 overseas students from over 70 countries, UTS is a leader in the modernisation of tertiary education, and is renowned for its flexible curriculum and high graduation employment rate. Its City Campus, Kuring-gai Campus and St Leonards are all located in the centre of Sydney.

The University of Technology Sydney not only has technical subjects, but also offers 80 courses including business, design, architecture, education, engineering, humanities, social sciences, law, mathematics, computing, nursing, midwifery and health. The University has a wide range of facilities, including computer laboratories, a library, an English language centre, a sports centre, and catering services.

Campus Features

 

- There is a bank, a child care centre, a computer lab, a coffee shop, a bookshop, a legal advice office, a library with 600,000 books, and a social activities centre. There is also a Learning Support Centre, a Job Search Centre, a Counselling Centre, a Health Centre and a Residential Services Centre to provide students with the services they need.

- UTS is the only university located in the centre of Sydney. The main campus is located in the heart of Sydney, next to Central Station and Chinatown, and within walking distance of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Most courses are taught here. The Kuring-gai and St Leonards campuses are about 20-30 minutes away from the main campus by university shuttle bus.
