Established in 1961, Monash University has six campuses in and around Melbourne, plus additional campuses in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Johannesburg, South Africa, making a total of eight campuses. Monash University is the largest comprehensive university in Australia with the largest number of students. With 45,000 students currently enrolled, including 9,000 international students from more than 100 countries, Monash University offers first-class teaching and world-leading research. The world's largest atomic accelerator will be built at Monash. Monash is ranked in the world's top 100 universities in the latest general university rankings: 42nd in the QS World University Rankings 2023.

Campus Features

-Monash University has a Study Abroad programme, which gives international students the opportunity to travel outside of Australia (e.g. to the USA, UK, etc.) to complete part of their studies and then return to Monash University to complete their degree.

-Monash University has its own Monash College, which offers guaranteed fast-track programmes for sophomores, juniors and tertiary students, leading to direct entry into second year at Monash University.
